Today I looked into post secondary options for sports broadcasting. I found a program from BCIT to incorporate into my presentation. I also continued to structure the PowerPoint to fit the project requirements. I wanted to get that done first to try to organize my work and know what specifics I need to research about.  I got into more detail with the research I already had for the skills needed to become a broadcaster. I'm a visual learner, so once I get the PowerPoint fully organized and structured the way I want it, while meeting the requirements, I feel like it will be easier for me to find the information I need once I have a layout of what I'm looking for.                                 My goal is to finish the layout of the PowerPoint during the weekend, get it all organized so that when I come back to class next week, I'll be ready to do all the research I need to make this project successful. ...

    Today I got started on my PowerPoint. I used the reference given and my project proposal to structure the PowerPoint and I also added some of my initial ideas. While I'm at home I'll have time to think about it, make the changes I need to and start doing the research. I added images to a few slides and I was able to find a relatively consistent design that I'll be using throughout the PowerPoint.  I'm still looking to find a mentor for this project, but I've sent emails The Province, Vancouver Sun, and The Athletic. My goal is to continue to do research during the week, hopefully find a mentor, and make sure I'm on the right track to make my project successful.
